Why did people ride roller coaster? I still can’t understand. It’s like every inch of the ride, you are closer to your death. Listen to all these people screaming. I am still young. Why would I want to die? Why would I want to be closer to death? It will come to me anyway..why search for it?

Can’t I just die in a normal way?

After being late for 20 minutes :p (it was saturday, 8 in the morning, btw), we actually managed to found the other (waves to Filip, Magda, Aspasia, Barbara and Ben) and get in the train with a small breakfast. In 3 minutes, 7 of us left Amsterdam for Den Bosch. An hour of a nice train ride, followed by a bus ride (with long green strippenkaart xD), we actually there *gasp in excitement*

EFTELING!!

It was really a miracle, we don’t need to wait for anything. And the weather is great!!

There are already queues when we’re there, but suddenly we are at the front and woo-hoo!! we’re in! (ive got a nasty feeling that we’re cutting the line, btw, but hey, we’re in, suckers!!)

1. Pagode
Now you see the pagode, now you don’t. Now you see it, now you don’t. That’s because the pagode is up on the sky!! Wee!!

and you can see the view of the whole park. It is so beautiful and green.

2. Phyton
Curious that our first ride should be a…ROLLER COASTER, even better, it’s the BIGGEST in the park.

One problem. I hate roller coaster. I fear them. Ahahahahhaha -__-” This one even have the curves, the loop..(Moommmmyy..get me out of here please T__T) , the speed, and the heights (Mooommmyyyyyyy T__T my height-phobic)

But for the first time in my life, a reassuring smile made me jump to the seat and take the ride. It was the scariest 1 minute of my life, and i thought it would be the last. When we decide to go to..

3. The Flying Dutchman
Aye. Pirates and ships. The story is about Van Decken, a succesful and ambitious captain of VOC. But Alas, he chose to sail at easter and he got cursed. The ghost ship that will roam the ocean for eternity.

I thought it would be like a ghost house thing. We sat in a little boat (of course the safety belt made me wonder for a while, but it wasn’t anything like phyton’s safety belt), and then we slowly sail into misty darkness. When suddenly rains and thunders came out of nowhere. And suddenly the boat accelerates, first inside the flying dutchman, where the carved face of Van Decken scares us, and whoaaa……

IT’S ANOTHER FRIGGIN ROLLER COASTER RIDE…

It’s going even faster, next thing I know, we are boosting and curving in the open, sunshine blinded my eyes, and LO!! we fall straight to the water…..

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MY WEAK HEART!! My weak faint heart…enjoyed it so much.

After this ride, I have the feeling that I should stop..I should stop..

4. Pegasus
Of course, I was wrong. The next ride, why of course, a wooden-track roller coaster. Creaking woods and high speed carts. Ahahahahahahahahaha.

But then I survived. And we went to get some water..

5.Piranha
…on ze clothes!! hihihihi…the next attraction was this-kinda-like-rafting-thing. I was so eager to get wet, but Andi got all the water T__T no fair no fair. It was too short, and a bit slower than i thought, but still fun!!

After intense rides, we decided to have some lunch and sat down for a bit. When we’re done, Ben and I stayed, while others advance to the next attraction Swiss Bob. I heard it was quite a smooth and slow ride for a roller coaster, but I was too tired for another round of roller coaster, so I thought I’ll pass and listen to the live music instead,

6. Fata Morgana
A very slow attraction, we ride a boat, to see the inside of middle age Baghdad. The Bazaar, The Harem and The Camels. There are tiny bit of laser show, and it was a very refreshing ride, after all the excitement at the start of the days.

7. Row-a-Boat
Ehe. By far this is my favorite ride. It’s very simple really, you got a boat and you could row around the lake. If you know how to row xD.

First, we were sitting in the opposite direction to the boat’s front. And then I started to row backwards. 15 minutes past, 4 people were rowing and yet we still going around the same corner, laughing at the fact that we haven’t moved an inch.

And then magically we moved! straight into crashing a willow tree, and the next thing everyone was roaring with laughter and the leaves were slapping our cheeks.

Thanks to Filip, we managed to land safely on the ground. But that bit was hillarious.

We set to find for a haunted house and fairy tale land, on the way we met,

After roaming around for a bit, we found…

8. Fairy Tales Forest
It’s a forest filled with..fairy tales (surprise surprise) and a long walk. There are figures (As in puppets) who read the story to children, we stayed a bit and watched a show about Waterlilies, I can imagined small children would gasp in amazement, but for 6 adults, that was just too much.

9. Villa Volta
Ah well, didn’t even get the seat to the main attraction. LOL. but yeah, Ive seen the alike once.

After that, we are just plain exhausted and everybody said yes to the idea of going home. So we did. Have to wait for 15 minutes for the bus, but it was worth it, since we got a seat and able to get some nap. Took a quick dinner at Donner Company, and got the train in Amsterdam, just 2 minutes before it departs. Lucky!

All in all in was a great day! I learn something about myself, and about life, and the best of all, I had FUN!
